Nigerian Baptist Convention, on Monday said the church never had rice transaction with any supplier worth N5 million as being speculated

Akanji stated this while briefing newsmen in Garki, Abuja, on the activities of a fraudster who he said wanted to drag the church’s name into the mud.

He explained that one Emmanuel had alleged that the church asked him to supply rice worth N5 million, and after the supply, the church only paid him N500,000 as part payment for the supply. “According to Brekete Radio that called me, the man told them that he supplied rice to our church but that we refused to pay him.
