At least two people have been killed and several others abducted after armed bandits launched a fresh attack on Sabon Sarah, a community
in Bakura Local Government Area of Zamfara State, early Wednesday morning. The incident was revealed in a post by security analyst Bakatsine on his X handle. According to the post, “Bandits attacked Sabon Sarah community in Bakura LGA, Zamfara State. They killed two people, injured one and abducted several people including adolescent girls during the attack.” Authorities in the state are yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
Earlier this week, armed bandits invaded Katuru village in Shinkafi Local Government Area, where they injured two people and abducted two women. In a separate incident the same week, bandits stormed a mosque during evening prayers in Unguwar Galadunci, a community in Anka LGA where several worshippers were kidnapped, and many others injured in the attack.
