JUST IN: Bandits kill one, abduct 2 in Zamfara [PHOTO] via politicsngr
At least two persons were abducted while a 28-year-old man identified as Armaya’u Hamisu was reportedly killed by suspected bandits who attacked Moriki in Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara state on Friday.A friend of the slain youth, Buhari Morikie, confirmed the incident. He said Hamisu was a phone charger in the community.
The police spokesperson in Zamfara state, Mohammed Shehu, could not be reached for comments regarding the killing and abduction. Zamfara is one of the states most affected by the activities of terrorists, called bandits by locals, in the North-west region. The terrorists exist in different groups with different leaders. Thousands of people have been killed and kidnapped in the state by terrorists.
