Gunmen believed to be armed terrorists have carried out a fresh attack, resulting in the death of more than 20 farmers in the Gidan Goga area of Maradun
A resident from the region, who requested anonymity, told DAILY POST during a telephone conversation that the bandits targeted the farmers while they were busy in their farming activities on Wednesday.
He added, “These dreaded terrorists have promised to unleash horrific attacks on our community, and we are calling on all concerned authorities to come to our aid as quickly as possible before the situation spirals out of control.” However, he maintained that nine people were killed, while five others sustained gunshot injuries and were currently receiving medical treatment.
