According to Ibrahim’s son, Maaji Ibrahim, his father was kidnapped early on Saturday.

He explained that his father was in the house when the kidnappers entered their compound through the fence. “I was inside my room when I noticed that someone jumped into the premises, I immediately came out to see what was happening, but I was seized by armed bandits; they forced me to take them to my father’s house, and from there, they whisked away my father to an unknown destination,” he said.
