The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, says it is aware that some of its operatives have been sabotaging efforts put in place by the state government to stop the influx of people into the state.
But Governor Abiodun, on Friday, said the sudden increase in cases of Coronavirus in Ogun was as a result of the influx of people from other states and the Benin Republic into Ogun. TRACE Corps Commander/Chief Executive, Cdr. Seni Ogunyemi made this known in a press release, signed by the agency’s Spokesman, Babatunde Akinbiyi on Thursday.
Ogunyemi said TRACE would commence the prosecution of any operative guilty of extortion and corrupt practices.
