The Lagos State Government on Wednesday urged commercial motorcyclists, popularly called Okada, plying prohibited roads in the state to desist from such

CSP Shola Jejeloye, Chairman, Lagos State Environmental Sanitation and Special Offences Unit told the News Agency of Nigeria the ban on such routes is still in force.

The return of commercial motorcyclists, he said, has compounded the free flow of traffic on such routes. He said that the decision was due to disobedience to traffic regulations and increase in motorcycle-related robberies.
