The trial of Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James, a.ka. Baba Ijesha, for alleged defilement will resume on September 27.The matter, earlier scheduled to continue on Wednesday, was postponed due to the absence of Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo.The new trial date has been communicated to parties to the suit. Baba Ijesha, arraigned on June 24, faces six counts.
Between 2013 and 2014, Baba Ijesha allegedly sexually abused the complainant, then 7 years old, by inserting his car keys into her vagina.
