The problem could affect 22 buses — about seven per cent of the local fleet
B.C. Transit says it has pulled 22 buses made by Vicinity Motor Corp. from service because of a possible problem with an unspecified bus part.
“In alignment with industry safety standards, B.C. Transit has removed 22 Vicinity buses from service out of an abundance of caution,” B.C. Transit said in a statement. “Further investigation is required to verify the condition and scope of the potential issue.”
