Ayade, who contested under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), polled a total of 381,484
Ben Ayade, incumbent Governor of Cross River State, has won his bid to return as elected governor of the state.
Announcing Ayade as winner, Professor Akii Ibhadode, returning officer for the governorship election in Cross River State, said: “That Ben Ayade, having scored the required number of lawful votes is hereby declared winner of the election.”
