Abia State commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Paul Igwebuike, has said the vision of the commandant general of the corps,
Igwebuike stated this when he paid a courtesy visit to the chairman/chief executive officer of Geometric Group Ltd, Barth Nnaji in his office in Aba, the commercial city of the state.
“Adequate and steady power supply, we know, is critical to the development of every society. And I want to commend you and the company for working towards achieving this in the state,” he added. He, thereafter, solicited the assistance of the company by providing the command with operational Hilux Vans and other logistics to enhance its operations.In his response, Nnaji extolled the commitment and professionalism of the corps in the discharge of its duties which he said had led to drastic reduction in vandalisation of the company’s facilities.
