.atiku tenders 118 exhibits to prove case against Tinubu | Obi calls first witness | TheCable
May 30, 2023 10:37 PMAtiku Abubakar, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party , has tendered 118 exhibits before the presidential election petition court to prove his case against President Bola Tinubu.
Aggrieved by the outcome, PDP and Atiku approached the tribunal challenging Tinubu’s victory on several grounds. Documents tendered in evidence before a five-member panel of the court included certified copies of the results of the presidential election from the 36 states of the federation and the federal capital territory .
All the respondents in the matter told the court that they would reserve their objections to any of the documents, till their final written address.Meanwhile, the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, have also opened their case before the tribunal.
