The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Yakubu Pam, has urged the Peoples Democratic Party and Labour Party, to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship and accept the tribunal's verdict to move the country forward.

“I have seen where people are congratulating President Bola Tinubu but this congratulation should be extended to all Nigerians for the victory of democracy.

“But that does not mean that those who took this matter to court are not right. The best way to address most of our issues is through the court. First, I want to congratulate them because the courage to take such a matter to the court is indeed what we need as Nigerians. “They are all my brothers and friends. They should imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship and accept the verdict so that the country can move forward.”

Pam, who noted that not all Nigerians would accept the verdict, commended the judiciary for standing strong.“I know that not everybody will accept the verdict but we will continue as humans to work towards the unity of this country.”All rights reserved.
