Atiku loses as tribunal dismisses election petition against Buhari

All the five members of the presidential election petition tribunal agreed to dismiss the petition by the PDP and Atiku Abubakar. PEPTJudgement PEPT

The judgement by the five-member tribunal was read by Garba Mohammed.Mr Mohammed said the petitioners failed to prove their petition beyond reasonable doubt and the petition “is hereby dismissed in its entirety.”As part of its ruling, the tribunal said Mr Abubakar and the PDP provided no evidence that the 2019 general election was not in compliance with the Electoral Act.

“The petitioners have a duty to prove all the allegations which are criminal in nature beyond reasonable doubt.
