The Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was by Sunday night in a comfortable lead in his home state, Adamawa, after the results of

Atiku polled 9,912 votes in Lamurde LGA to be slightly ahead of the Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi who got 9,744 votes in the LGA.

Results of the Girei LGA announced immediately afterwards showed that Atiku got 17,557 votes against Tinubu’s 8,531 and Peter Obi’s 3749. In Toungo LGA, according to the Presidential election results, Atiku had 7,401 votes while Tinubu polled 4,163 and Obi 651 votes.
