Atiku, Bruce react as Okonjo-Iweala gets new appointment
South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa, named the former Managing Director, Operations, World Bank, as a member of the country’s Economic Advisory Council.Atiku said Okonjo-Iweala’s inclusion in the council was good for Nigeria.“Her appointment by President @CyrilRamaphosa of South Africa is proof that Nigerians are global and capacity is indeed an asset that can be exported,” he wrote.
‘Your exceptional ability during your active service in Nigeria remains a currency that will never lose its value. I wish you even more success in your new role as Member of SA’s Economic Advisory Council.” The body will advise Ramaphosa on productivity and facilitate the development, implementation of South African economic policies.
