The chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of All Local Government Association of Nigeria in Taraba State, Alhaji Lawandi Bala has urged voters in the North
ern region to vote for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party , Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
According to him, Atiku stands a better chance of advancing the cause of the region, after the tenure of incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari. Bala in a statement made available to newsmen in Jalingo yesterday said he carried out a comprehensive appraisal of all the candidates and has realised that the North would fare well under the Adamawa-born former vice president.
“As we are fast approaching the forthcoming general election, I have appraised all those vying for the country’s number seat and I am happy to say that all the odds favour Atiku to safeguard our interest in Arewa,” he said. Hassan also hinged his optimism on the fact that the PDP hopeful on the basis of his being a job creator who is expected to generate employment opportunities for the youths to bring an end to the instability and killings in the entire region.
