Arsenal vs Newcastle: Arteta explains why Cedric Soares is so disappointed
Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta says new signing, Cedric Soares is very disappointed because he is yet to make his debut for the club.
Soares joined Arsenal on loan from Southampton for £5 million last month, but the 28-year-old is yet to play for Arteta’s side due to injury. Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Newcastle United on Sunday, Arteta said as quoted by Arsenal’s official website: “Cedric is very disappointed because when he wanted to start playing after joining us.“Cedric has not been training with Arsenal squad but I expect him to recover from his injury in the next few weeks.”
