Army rescues seven kidnap victims on Kaduna-Abuja highway
The Troops of Operation Thunder Strike on Wednesday rescued seven kidnap victims who were on transit from Offa, Kwara State to Kaduna State on September 8.
The main mission of the operation is to contain the incessant killings and kidnapping on the Abuja-Kaduna expressway. The Commander urged commuters to avoid travelling at night and if they must travel at night, they should make a u-turn at the sight of any roadblock.One of the victims, Aishat Bisola, said they were kidnapped on their way to Kaduna from Kwara State around 9.30 p.m. on Sunday.
