Receiving the kidnapped victim on behalf of the Katsina State Government, the SGS, said Government is worried with the recent incessant attacks by bandits in some parts of the State.

A middle aged woman, Hadiza Alhaji Gajere of Yarmalamai ward in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State, on Friday night got rescued by the army, six weeks after she was abducted from her matrimonial home by kidnappers

He urged the people to be more patient and not lose confidence on security agents as government at all levels were doing their best to bring an end to these nefarious activities of the bandits.He further instructed that the woman be reunited with her family and thanked the officers who facilitated her release

She further disclosed that she spent 42 days in the bandit’s camp because her family was unable to meet their demand for 5 Million Naira ransom.
