The Nigerian Army has refuted claims that Maj.-Gen. Ibrahim Ali, the General Officer Commanding, 3 Division in Rukuba, near Jos, was plotting an evil

The military arm clarified that Ali was born in Nasarawa Local Government Area, not in Miango chiefdom of Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau.

The reports alleged that Ali was deployed to ensure that all the people of Miango chiefdom were wiped out. The Army noted that he is the son of late Sallau Ali, and not the son of the younger brother, Ja’afaru Isa, the former Ardo of Miango.
