Sylvester Ezeokenwa, a 38-year-old, has been elected as the national chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Ezeokenwa was elected to succeed Victor Oye as chairman of the party on Wednesday in Awka, the Anambra capital, by delegates from the 36 states of the country and FCT.
He added that he completed the party’s national secretariat building in Abuja and a five-storey zonal office in Awka.“This is despite the fact that I inherited less than N40 million from my predecessor,” NAN quoted Oye as saying. He commended Oye for giving the party focused leadership for eight years and for managing the party’s resources effectively.“I am extremely thrilled that the past executives of APGA got stronger and Oye has written his name in gold. You served APGA and left it better than you met it,” Soludo said.
