The leader of the All Progressives Congress in Sokoto State, Senator Aliyu Wamakko, said the party's governorship candidate, Ahmad Aliyu, would improve the health services for the people of the state if elected as governor in 2023.

He explained further that the Association was solely an APC support group that was using its resources to purchase assorted medical equipment for its operations.

According to him, Wamakko as a Grand Patron of the Association is a mark of honour for what he had done for the people of the state during his tenure as governor that impacted positively on their health situation. Aliyu, the statement noted, then pledged the Association’s commitment to providing routine medical support to the needy and vulnerable sections of the state.

Also, the Vice chairman of the Association, Alhaji Ibrahim Yusuf, in his remarks, recalled that during Wamakko’s administration, all the 244 wards in the state had functional primary healthcare centers. The association, the statement said, pledged to continue to work together for the victory of APC at all levels come 2023 elections, adding that the choice of Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto as APC Governorship candidate for the 2023 election was the right decision. All rights reserved.
