Dyepkazah ShibayanThe All Progressives Congress says those questioning the legitimacy of the victory of Bola Tinubu at the presidential election cannot handle defeat.
The Peoples Democratic Party and the Labour Party have filed suits at the presidential election tribunal challenging the victory of Tinubu. Speaking on Politics Today, a Channels Television programme, on Tuesday, Felix Morka, APC spokesperson, said he feels sympathy for them. “There are people in our democracy who can’t handle the fact that they lost,” Morka said when asked why the opposition sees Tinubu’s mandate as “illegitimate”.“Personally, I feel some level of sympathy for them. You contest an election and you give all you have got, you went into it, hoping to win but you didn’t win, someone else won. The candidate of the APC won the election.
