APC Rejects Alleged Election Results Manipulation in Edo State

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed circulating social media reports claiming to show results from the Edo State Gubernatorial election. The party's spokesperson, Felix Morka, labeled these reports 'bogus and highly speculative,' stating that official collation is ongoing and only INEC can declare final results.

The All Progressives Congress has reacted to some reports circulating on social media about results from the Edo State Gubernatorial Election which was held today, September 21st.

The statement called on the Edo state electorate and the general public to disregard these 'bogus and highly speculative reports.''Certainly, Local Government level collation has yet to begin in most of the LGAs in the state let alone concluded,' the statement reads. 'Our great Party is comfortably in an early lead, however, as a responsible Party, we will not attempt to preempt INEC’s conclusion of the election process and official declaration of final results.
