The last is yet to be heard of the crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress (APC) over alleged abuse of office, as a member of the National Working Committee (NWC), Dr. Salihu Lukman, accused the National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu..

APC group favours N’Central for DSP

Lukman, who is the National Vice Chairman of the party, particularly accused the Adamu-led NWC of rendering the party organs prostrate since assuming office last year. Lukman, in a piece entitled ‘APC and Questions of Progressive Credentials’ noted: “The name of the party’s BoT has been changed to National Advisory Council and its functions have been substantially reduced to advisory, as the name imply, at the March 28, 2022 National Convention.

According to the highly influential pressure group, since the positions of the Senate President and DSP must be shared between the North and the South, the North Central stands a better chance to produce a presiding officer of the red chamber.
