Despite promises made by all the parties in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun towards a successful ward congress on Saturday, DAILY POST
Recall that this medium had reported Saturday that party members who had turned out for the congress at Union Baptist Primary School, Odi-olowo, Osogbo could not carry on with the voting because they did not have access to the venue.
Party members interviewed alleged that the thugs who were all wearing ‘ILERIOLUWA’ branded fez caps took over the collation centre for the ward congress. He stated that they had to call the security operatives in when they discovered that the thugs were growing in number. Another party member, Labake Adeoye, stated that the officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission were not seen but the result of the polls was given to the police who witnessed it.
