Former Senate President and former Secretary to Federal Government, Sen. Pius Anyim, yesterday, said he is supporting the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) Francis Nwifuru, in Ebonyi State, noting that he believes in rotation of power the state.

Anyim, a Peoples Democratic Party stakeholder and former presidential aspirant, spoke to journalists at his country home at Amagu, Ishiagu, in Ivo Council of the state after a town hall meeting.

He noted that for the sake of equity and justice, power should move to the North, since the present governor is from South.The statement from the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, during the President Goodluck Jonathan administration, has cleared the air over his belief in rotation of power to Ebonyi North zone, which is in favour of the candidate of ruling APC, Nwifuru as against Ifeanyi Odii of the PDP.
