Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has mourned founder/Chief Executive Officer of African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, saying she was a strong and positive force in Nigeria’s creative industry.

In a statement, yesterday, by Segun Adeyemi, Special Assistant to the President , Office of the Minister of Information and Culture, Mohammed said he was saddened by the passing of the creative amazon, whose contributions to the entertainment industry were stuff of a legend.

While condoling with the family, friends and associates of the deceased, the minister said the best tribute that could be paid to Anyiam-Osigwe was to keep her dream alive through sustenance of the AMAA project.
