More unseasonably warm weather is on tap for all of Alabama over the next few days. Some temperature records could even be in jeopardy. Details:
Areas in south Alabama could again flirt with the 80-degree mark today and Thursday. And some 80s will be possible in central Alabama as well. North Alabama could remain a little cooler thanks to off and on rain from a stalled frontal boundary in the area.More 70s and 80s are expected across Alabama on Thursday.Friday may be a degree or two cooler but is still expected to be quite warm.
The weather service said a weather system could bring better rain chances and cooler temperatures back to Alabama starting on Sunday and Monday, with highs on Monday ranging from the upper 50s in north Alabama to the 70s in south Alabama:And as for the long range, expect a good chance of continued warmer weather next week. Here’s the Climate Prediction Center’s temperature outlook for Dec. 12-16.
