Another Nigerian allegedly killed by South African Police
Mr Okoli said this in a letter to the Consul General, Nigerian Consulate in Johannesburg, South Africa, a copy of which was obtained by News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja on Friday
According to him, the girlfriend called the police and along with the Police they had gone out in search of Mr Udugbo. He was later found by the police while he was driving on the road in town.“The police took his car keys, left the car by the way and drove with him back to his house in the police car along with the girlfriend.
According to him, at about past 10 a.m. one of Mr Udugbo’s relatives went to the station and was told that he had committed suicide. He said all circumstances surrounding his death was a clear indication of bias, hate, xenophobia and premeditated action and police high handedness.
