Another 150 Stranded Nigerians Return From Libya

National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has welcomed another 150 distressed Nigerians, mostly young women, from Tripoli, Libya.

The Nigerians were assisted back in a voluntary repatriation exercise programme by the United Nations International Organisation for Migration .

The flight, Al Buraq Air Boeing 737-800 with registration number 5A-DMG that conveyed the people touched down at the Cargo Wing of Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Ikeja at about 1628 hours. The profiles of the returnees indicates that 110 adult women including two who have critical health challenges, 15 female children and four female infants along with 14 men, eight male children and four infant males arrived Nigeria aboard the flight.
