Chike Madueke, chair of the Anambra physical planning board , says the state government is committed to ensuring that all public buildings and infrastructure adhere strictly to provisions of the disability rights lawMadueke said this when members of the Anambra state disability rights commission led by Chukwuka Ezewuzie, chairman of the commission, paid him a courtesy visit last week in Amawbia, Awka south LGA.
He also assured the commission that the state government is willing to partner with them on the provision of accessible infrastructure.“Your visit today is an eye opener because there are a lot of things we need to do differently in terms of how infrastructure are built,” he said.
