The State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, represented by his deputy, Dr Nkem Okeke, received the relief materials on behalf of the governor on Friday in Awka.
“People are in dire need of relief materials, food items for them to be able to support themselves and their families. Earlier, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq, said that Buhari has directed that the relief materials should be given to the state.
