Nimo community in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State has resolved a lingering land dispute among indigenes of the community, which has caused

The community leadership summoned all indigenes of the community both male and female to its community square to resolve the dispute at the weekend.

The youths said the land which was the proceeds of a conquest many decades back by their forefathers should be left as an inheritance to the coming generation. Former commissioner for justice and attorney general of Anambra State, Peter Afuba, who briefed the community said that it was the agreement of the community to use a part of the land as an estate while explaining that only indigenes of Nimo were being sold plots in land and at a discounted rate.
