The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has come hard on Labour Party, LP, chieftain, Mr Valentine Ozigbo, for scoring Governor Charles Soludo low in his past two years as governor of Anambra State.
Ozigbo had, while speaking with journalists over the weekend, said he was unimpressed with Soludo's performance and had decided to contest the 2025 governorship election in Anambra, to replace him. But APGA reacting to this said Ozigbo is simply looking for an alibi to declare his intention to run for governorship, so as to rake in donations for his campaign.
He is simply desperate to be governor. Life is difficult for the blind, and I pity him for not being able to see all that Soludo is doing.' Speaking on Ozigbo's promise of doing one term of four years, Opara said: 'I wonder if he thinks Anambra people are gullible or dumb heads to believe that a politician will come and say he will do one term. 'Besides, you can only change a government that is not performing.
