Reports claimed that the Nigerian government had quietly increased the pump price of petrol to ₦185 per litre

The Nigerian government on Friday said it has not approved any increase in the pump prices of petrol across the country.

Mr Sylva claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari has not approved any increase in the price of PMS or any other petroleum product. But Mr Sylva on Friday claimed that the government will not approve any increase of PMS secretly without due consultations with the relevant stakeholders.
