d Vice Presidential candidate before the February 25 polls.The Allied Peoples Movement political party on Wednesday closed its case against President Bola Tinubu, at the Presidential Election Petition Court, after it called one witness to testify before the court.
The party listed INEC, President Tinubu, Vice President Shettima, the ruling All Progressives Congress and Ibrahim Masari as respondents in the petition. According to Punch, the lawyer argued that an earlier judgment by the Supreme Court that dismissed a similar suit filed by the Peoples Democratic Party was based on the APC’s letter announcing Shettima’s withdrawal from the senatorial race.
