Trial of the former Governor of Plateau state, Jonah Jang was stalled on Wednesday due to the claim by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission that it was not ready yet to continue with the case.

The duo had pleaded not guilty to the offences bordering on criminal breach of trust and misappropriation of public fund which they allegedly committed towards the end of the ex-governor’s tenure in 2015 .However, the matter was reassigned to a new judge, Justice Christy Dabub after Longji retired in December 2019 .
