Amidst the alleged threat by the Indigenous People Of Biafra IPOB, to attack the Imo State Secretariat, the Commissioner of Police, CP Aboki Danjuma has mobilized men and officers of the Command at strategic areas within the Secretariat to ward off any attack.
A press statement issued by the command spokesperson, Henry Okoye informed that the Police commissioner took the action after paying a visit to both the Federal and State Secretariats in the State to reassure civil servants of their maximum safety amidst recent threats from IPOB. 'During the visit, CP Danjuma engaged with the civil servants, underscoring the Command's readiness and commitment to their protection.
He detailed the mobilization of well-equipped operatives and assured the implementation of enhanced security strategies to ensure a safe working environment in the secretariat and other areas in the State.
