The Kogi State Police Command has warned the general public to avoid taking laws into their own hands.
DAILY POST gathered that in the last week in Kogi State, some suspected ritualists were arrested, especially within the state capital Lokoja, for allegedly stealing male organs from their victims. While quoting the Kogi State Commissioner of Police, CP Bethrand Onuoha, who called on residents of Lokoja and its environs to desist from peddling fake and false information on the disappearance of male organs that is currently trending in Lokoja, the statement further stated that, some of the allegations have been investigated by the police and medical examinations were equally carried out, which turned out to be false.
“The police are planning sterner measures to curtain false reports in the state. Anyone caught giving false information will be prosecuted according to the law.
