Afropop singer and Nigerian music powerhouse, Yemi Eberechi Alade, better known as Yemi Alade, on Saturday August 6, hosted a listening party for her upcoming Extended Play, Queendoncom.

The event was attended by celebrities, including Falz, Alex Ekubo, Lasisi Elenu, Nancy Isime, and Tacha. The Mama Africa singer has also announced dates for her upcoming Empress Tour. She made the announcement via her Instagram page @yemialade.

Her debut studio album, King of Queens was released on October 2, 2014. She promoted the album by touring several African countries, including Ghana, Kenya and South Africa. Black Magic, her third studio album, was released on December 15, 2017, as a follow-up to her 2017 EP titled Mama Afrique. The album features guest appearances from Falz and Olamide.As a social crusader, Alade, on December 1, 2017, featured on a campaign ‘Make The Future’ by Shell Petroleum. She was also starred in the company’s music video, On Top of the World that also featured Jennifer Hudson, Pixie Lott, Luan Santana and Monali Thakur.
