A former mixed martial arts fighter, Goncalo Salgado, has been identified as the bodyguard of football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo is one of the world’s most recognisable sportsmen, so he requires a top-notch personal security guard to protect himself and his family.Salgado competed in the heavyweight division of MMA and had a professional record of seven wins and two losses. After winning his first five fights, the Portuguese suffered his first defeat against Zilong Zhao in 2007.He stopped fighting in 2011 after he was beaten by Arsen Abdulkerimov, and he retired in 2014.
The highly trained security expert has been working as a personal security guard for Cristiano Ronaldo.
