Rotimi Akeredolu, governor of Ondo state, says the victory of Bola Tinubu, president-elect, has given the All Progressives Congress (APC) an opportunity to build on the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Tinubu secured 8,794,726 votes to defeat Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party who got 6,984,520 votes, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party who polled 6,101,533 votes in the presidential election.

He said the other presidential candidates should take the olive branch extended by the president-elect.“This victory offers yet another opportunity for the ruling party, APC, and the incoming government to continue with the developmental strides taken by the current administration,” Akeredolu said.
