While assuring that the situation is under control, Akeredolu said that he had received report the Plateau State tragedy where some people believed to be indigenes of Ondo State were attacked.
In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Richard Olatunde, Akeredolu had received a report over the incident from his Plateau State counterpart. Akeredolu, who appealed to the people to refrain from any hasty colouration of the incident maintained that Ondo State indigenes living in Plateau are not targets of any religion or ethnic crisis.
“While assuring that justice will be served, I want to plead again that we do not take law into our hands. Let us remain calm.
