Indigenes of Akure metropolis, the Ondo State capital, were yesterday thrown into mourning following the sudden death of House of Representatives member, representing Akure South/Akure North Federal Constituency, Omolafe Adedayo.
According to them, his sudden death was very “expensive” for the Akure people to bear politically in the four local councils namely: Akure South, Akure North, Ifedore and Idanre, in the scheme ahead of 2023 elections.The Guardian learnt that the lawmaker, who was also the state co-ordinator of Sure-P under former President Goodluck Jonathan, died around 2:00 a.m. yesterday morning after being rushed to the Federal Medical Centre , Owo.
