The All Progressives Congress has dropped Senate President Ahmed Lawan from its National Reconciliation Committee.

The former National Chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, is to head the reconstituted 12-man committee, which will be inaugurated today.

Others are Senate Leader, Yahaya Abdullahi; Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Ahmed Wase; ex-Nasarawa State governor, Umaru Al-Makura; Senator Kashim Shettima; and the Minister of State for Environment, Sharon Ikeazor. A statement by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Lanre Issa-Onilu, said the panel was reconstituted after a review by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari , and the leadership of the APC.
