Multi-talented artiste, former member of the defunct group Gospel According To Rap and a Public Administration graduate of Lagos State University, Ahmed Green, has been knocking beats and rhymes together in the music kitchen.

The singer is readying to serve up a 10-course dish branded The Exodus, but first, he’s whetting our appetite with a single titled Oruko Jesu.

For a creative talent that has been rolling with the likes of Cobhams Asuquo, Asa, TY Bello, Rooftop MCs,Sound Sultan , Timi Dakolo and others, it’s no wonder therefore, that he has chosen 2021 to step out of the shadows to hog long-awaited solo move with his debut 10-track CD titled The Exodus, due for release soon.

According to Ahmed Green, the Afro-Pop, Rock, Reggae and Gospel Rap music act, “Music epitomises an all encompassing surrender, a pledge to God and all God’s creations under the sun. I’m using my music art form to entertain and at the same time, return the lost souls back to God.” In the words of his management, “The intelligent conversationalist has what it takes to become the new Prince of Gospel. Good music lovers, open your ears and mic to Ahmed Green, you won’t be sorry.”

Ahmed Green is a signee on Mastaplan Records co-owned by Ikemefuna Moses and Andrew Udo Peters aka “Dready” and chaired by Gbenga Shokefun, the man who introduced us to KUSH and jointly owned Questionmark Records . The Exodus will be distributed by one of Nigeria’s record marketing and distribution giants, Tjoe.
