PETALING JAYA: The government is preparing the necessary laws to enforce the third phase of the movement control order to curb the spread of Covid-9 beginning tomorrow. “The Attorney-General’s Chambers is preparing the respective laws for the period from April 15 to 28,” it said in a statement. The AGC also said that all orders and regulations governing the MCO had been in force from March 18 to April 14.http://www.federalgazette.agc.gov.myPrime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin on March 16 announced that the MCO would be in effect from March 18 to 31.Anyone who contravenes the regulations will be considered to have committed an offence and will, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding RM1,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or both.
