The Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation has again reshuffled its staff, promoting some and redeploying others across departments.A statement from the organisation stated that the move was to “strengthen and reposition the NNPC towards attaining global excellence and profitability.”
In the shakeup, Billy Okoye was appointed the new Group Executive Director, Ventures & Business Development while Aisha Ahmadu-Katagum was promoted to the position of Group Executive Director, Corporate Services. The former Chief Operating Officer, Business & Ventures Development, Adeyemi Adetunji was appointed as the Group Executive Director, Downstream, while Mohammed Abdulkabir Ahmed, formerly Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Services, becomes the Group Executive Director, Gas and Power.
Group Managing Director of the Corporation, Mele Kyari, in the statement signed by Obateru said the new appointments would enable the Corporation live up to the expectations of Nigerians and achieve its vision of becoming a world-class energy company of choice.
